ก่อนหน้าที่ Kanye West จะมาประสบความสำเร็จกับ adidas เขาเคยร่วมมือร่วมใจกับ Nike ในการออกแบบสนีกเกอร์ไลน์ยอดฮิตอย่าง Yeezy ซึ่งแน่นอนว่าในการออกแบบรองเท้าแต่ละไลน์หรือแต่ละรุ่น ก็จะต้องมีการออกแบบตัว Sample หรือสินค้าตัวอย่างเพื่อการลองสวมใส่หรือใช้ไปเป็น reference ต่อต่อไปในอนาคต สำหรับ Sample ของ Nike Air Yeezy คู่นี้มีชื่อเล่นว่า "Black Glow" สีดำล้วน ซึ่งไซส์ที่วางจำหน่ายคือ 12 US โดยรายละเอียดที่กล่าวไว้มีดังนี้
